As the Founder and CEO of Safahla Medical PLLC, she has successfully blended the rigorous standards of surgical medicine with a holistic, evidence-based approach to longevity health.

Dr. Vassell’s career is built on a robust foundation of clinical excellence and institutional leadership. After completing her General Surgery residency, where she served as Chief Resident at the University of Vermont Medical Center, she transitioned into high-level administrative medicine. Her experience includes serving as a Medical Director who pioneered the award-winning Wound and Hyperbaric program, earning the prestigious "Center of Distinction" award. Furthermore, her tenure as a principal Medical Director in Utilization Management cemented her expertise in health informatics, developing evidence-based clinical guidelines, and achieving excellence in quality assurance. Dr. Vassell is a Board-Certified Wound Specialist, and in Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Vassell’s experience as a breast cancer survivor underscored the profound impact that acute medical treatments have on long-term wellness and self-image.
